Communication projects

Directorate General Research and Innovation

Development of publications (brochures, posters, flyers, reports, newsletters) and websites. Tasks included writing/editing content, graphic design for digital and printed outputs, translations. 4-year projects, 30M euros.

Design of corporate visual identity

European Environment Agency

Creating new corporate visual identity for the Agency. Tasks included the adaptation of the logo and developing new graphic design and layout for printed publications and website. 2-year project, 1M euros.

Development of eLearning Systems

Directorate General Education and Culture

Managing several projects involving the development of eLearning content (learning objects) and Content Management Systems. 3 years each.

European Standards

CEN-CENELEC Management Centre

Managing communication department for the Centre, including all editorial and graphic design activities for the digital and printed publications (bi-monthly newsletters, news, annual reports…), organization of events and conferences.

Pay-TV International projects

Telecom Operators in Africa and Argentina

Management of pay-TV projects ensuring quality and on-time delivery of back-end software modules developed or customized for major clients in Africa and Argentina.

Technology-Transfer projects

Canada-France-USA-Mexico

Founder of a company in Montreal. Main responsibilities included: writing business plans to obtain funds from government institutions to support technology transfer projects between France, Mexico and Canada, negotiating contracts with major commercial US Software producers (Lotus 123) and other general management tasks.

Manage transfer of classified project

between the EU-Institutions: Council and EEAS

Plan and manage the transfer of a whole IT project family from one EU-Institution to another.

This included hardware of several test environments (22 servers), software and three members of the project team.

The unclassified test environments were transferred to an EU Secret facility and special measures needed then to be implemented to access these servers. Planning 1/2 year, implementing 1/2 year.

Command and Control software

EEAS: EU Military Staff and CPCC

Managed the outsourced development and the maintenance of the software suite for an operations center with the classification level EU SECRET. This included also to manage the stakeholders, civilians and high ranking military officers, to contribute and support the development and testing, to enable the software to be ready to support military or civilian missions.

The development contained: Planning tools, Content Management systems, Maps to see the location and the operational picture, various types of message exchange mechanism and the information exchange with other Command and Control systems.

Data Warehouse consultancy

Partner of productive-data GmbH

Managed the development of a new Java application to facilitate the Data-Warehous uploading processes into a database, organized in a cube or hypercube, for online analytical data processing.

Managed the software team and consult at the University Hospital of Münster, Germany in cumulating data and process them to achieve a better insight about the Hospital status.
